Overall, a full-length game session that actually accomplished only a very small number of events.
The game started with the party returning to Sigil to identify and deal with the magic items recovered from their two slain foes, as well as consider what supplies they wanted to buy to try and take out the remaining, powerful vampire. While doing so, they ran into Greymankle and Que, finally bringing their company up to full strength.
After much discussion, it was finally decided that the party would once again teleport into the stronghold of evil and contact a sudden ambush assault on their enemy. A number of powerful magic scrolls were purchased in order to help with attack. When all was in readiness, Zin performed his remote view technique to locate their foe so they could begin. They found that the vampire was apparently expecting some kind of attack because Zin's sensor found the villain to lurking invisibly next to Rusteen's brother. (Who had been captured as insurance previously.)
Deciding that the element of surprise would be enough to save the relative, the party beamed in and quickly decimate the few skeleton guards and pull the surprised brother away to safety. Then, the party began to deal with some shadows that were hiding in the room, while waiting for the invisible vampire to make her move.
As it turns out, the vamprie wasn't invisible. It seems the party forgot that she had disguised herself as the mayor earlier, and thus didn't think that the sensor showed Rusteen's brother because the vampire had disguised herself as said brother. Which was exactly the case. The vampire attacked her rescuers by surprise. However, the party, with its planning, managed to make a relatively easy fight of it due to the use of Que's Resiliant Sphere spell. Having encased the vampire in a "gerbil ball", the party was then able to take hold of it and teleport out to a sunny field and then dispel the sphere. Having nowhere to go, the vampire was destroyed in a burst of fire.
This ended the session, basically. The brother was located, the small amount of loot gathered, and the party returned to Sigil to finally ignore Rusteen's home world once and for all.
